2026 Pittsburgh Urban Farm Tour sponsor opportunites
Support urban agriculture, invest in growers, and help create thoughtful, place-based experiences across the region.
The Pittsburgh Food Policy Council (PFPC) is excited to begin planning the 2026 Farm Tour Series, and we invite your organization to partner with us in making this year’s tour a success.
Now in its ninth year, the Farm Tour has evolved into a unique, place-based experience that connects community members, partners, and policymakers directly to urban agriculture sites across the region. This year, we’re shifting from scale to thoughtful, high-quality engagement, creating opportunities to highlight the day-to-day realities of growers and elevate key food system issues.
Why the Farm Tour Matters
Urban farms play a critical role in strengthening our food system, local economy, and neighborhoods. These spaces provide access to fresh, locally grown food, serve as hubs for education and community connection, and transform underutilized land into productive, vibrant green spaces.
At the same time, growers often face barriers to accessing the resources needed to sustain and expand their work. Through the Farm Tour, PFPC aims to both elevate their stories and invest directly in their growth.
How Proceeds Make an Impact
Proceeds from the 2026 Farm Tour will:
Provide honorariums to participating farm sites

About the Urban Grower’s Scholarship Fund
The Urban Grower’s Scholarship Fund offers up to $500 per applicant for professional development opportunities such as conferences, trainings, travel, and educational materials.
