The 9th annual Pittsburgh Urban Farm Tour is a self-guided experience that invites participants to explore urban farm sites across the region and witness their crucial contributions firsthand. These spaces not only educate community members on food cultivation, but also improve environmental health, expand access to fresh, local food, and transform underutilized land into vibrant green spaces.

Urban farms play a vital role in our food system, local economy, and neighborhoods. Supporting the growers who steward this work requires sustained resources and investment. Proceeds from the Farm Tour support participating sites and the Urban Growers Scholarship Fund, which provides funding for growers’ professional development, equipment, and capacity building.

This event brings together community members, policymakers, and partners to connect directly with the people and places shaping a more just and resilient food system in Greater Pittsburgh.
