Pittsburgh Urban Farm Tour
Now in its ninth year, the Farm Tour has evolved into a unique, place-based experience that connects community members, partners, and policymakers directly to urban agriculture sites across the region.
Urban farms play a critical role in strengthening our food system, local economy, and neighborhoods. These spaces provide access to fresh, locally grown food, serve as hubs for education and community connection, and transform underutilized land into productive, vibrant green spaces.
At the same time, growers often face barriers to accessing the resources needed to sustain and expand their work. Through the Farm Tour, we aim to both elevate their stories and invest directly in their growth.
Managed in collaboration with Grow Pittsburgh, the Urban Grower's Scholarship Fund increases access to professional development for urban growers across our region. The fund offers up to $500 per applicant to support conferences, trainings, travel, and educational materials, resources that are often out of reach for growers operating on tight margins.
