Meet Your New Coalition Organizer!

We're thrilled to introduce our new Coalition Organizer, Alyson McAtee, to the Pittsburgh Food Policy Council (PFPC) family! Alyson steps into a pivotal role, spearheading our locally driven working groups and committees, with a primary focus on urban agriculture/farming, reduced fares for SNAP users, and steering the impactful Food Justice Fund.

Bringing a wealth of experience, Alyson's journey includes pivotal roles as a Community Mobilizer and Urban Farmer Apprentice. Her dedication supported community-led initiatives, tackling food insecurity, championing environmental justice, and driving poverty alleviation efforts, especially within black and immigrant communities.

Join us in extending a warm welcome to Alyson as we embark on this journey together toward a more equitable and thriving food landscape!
