Food Service Directors, Farmers/Growers, Educators  

A one-day summit for Food Service Directors, growers, and educators to share and learn from one another about issues in the school food environment. The day will begin with a Grower-Buyer event hosted by Penn State Extension and The Food Trust, which will bring together K-12 Food Service Directors and regional growers to discuss farm-to-school partnerships. After the Grower-Buyer event, workshops featuring topics on nutrition education, garden planning and activities, local purchasing, Farm to School and school meals will be held before and after a networking lunch.
