Supporting members recognize the impact of collective action through information and resource sharing. While there are no listed requirements to be a Supporting Members, they are encouraged to to promote the goals and values of the Pittsburgh Food Policy Council.

Collaborating & Steering Committee Members
Collaborating members provide input, expertise, and recommendations for action and actively contribute to the work of advancing the Council’s mission.
Rights and Responsibilities:
• Vote for PFPC’s Steering Committee Members and on any other questions brought to the membership for a vote.
• Participate in and contribute to at least one Working Group or Functional Committee.
• Receive notice of membership and other relevant meetings.
• Receive appropriate accommodations in order to participate.
• Contribute to PFPC evaluation and Annual Report.
Attendance: Participation in general PFPC meetings is encouraged. Collaborating Members are required to take part in a Working Group or Functional Committee -- please refer to section 2 regarding Working Group or Functional Committees.
Terms: There are no term limits for Collaborating Members and members self-select to join the Working Groups and Functional Committees.
